all's well and it ended... So now it's April and alot has transpired in the last month. Last entry was all about starting something new, the pottery business. It was and I stress..was great fun while it lasted. Actually, I take that back. It was fun for me, when there were no customers and I could freely paint in a large room with internet radio and no kids to pull on my sleeve. The actual customer part was not so much fun. I am great at customer service when everyone is agreeable. Mix in some bitchy "think they are better than me, 'cause I don't have to work" type women fussing over three dollars because thier discount wasn't large enough and I guess my skills aren't as great. I will say this, a computer doesn't lie. Your math, needs work. period. Sooo, hire someone else to handle that right? no. work in the back with the cancer causing dust? no. two hour commute to work and back? no. my kids getting thier arteries clogged over fast food every day cause dad can't do anything else? no. So needless to say, I let the store go back to the hands of the owner and I am here again at home trying to figure out what to do next. So, I got a little job illustrating a story for a family member and then I am refurbishing a table. But on the bright side, my house is clean, my kids are eating healthier, I save on gas, I can sleep in, and stay up late. I have time to think about what to do next. But at least for the next two weeks, I am all about learning adobe illustrator and getting this done. until later. | dr |
