fake jewelry with polymer clay

The fake jewelry thing is huge right now. Polymer Clay is super amazing for accomplishing this. I am not going to include pictures because it's that easy. *

1. get some white clay and shop it up with a blade in teeny weeny pieces. Like the size of "nerds" candies.
2. Paint on top of the pile with black acrylic paint.  Let dry completely. Could take a day depending upon humidity. You can bake the paint and clay together. Who knew!
3. after drying, roll the pile into a ball and you have achieved your marble effect.
4. roll into balls or use a bead roller to complete your project.
The great thing about this, is that it's not limited to jewelry. You can make door knobs, handles, etc...

To make turquoise, use shades of sky blue, green etc... and limit the amount of black paint you use. Roll it into a ball or log and cut with a blade and you get some pretty cool effects.
* look into package safety for best results
